Golf Swing Symposium 11/1/23

  • How can any player understand how to generate more precision and power with the body they already have?

  • Why do so many different kinds of swings exist in championship golf?

  • Why is a person’s body makeup not a great indicator of how fast they can swing?

  • Why is trying to fit into a swing “system” destined to fail?

  • How do you use the natural advantages built into the human body to play powerfully, avoid injury and move better in your day-to-day life?

Find out the answers to these questions and more at the blockbuster Golf Swing Symposium November 1, 2023 the famed Wykagyl Country Club in Westchester County, NY.

This event brings together the groundbreaking biomechanical research and practical playing and coaching application from Golf Digest 50 Best Teacher Michael Jacobs and sport scientist Dr. Steven Nesbit and the body functionality insight from the world’s premier anatomist Thomas Myers.

In this full-day symposium, you’ll get the first look at the new research Jacobs and Nesbit are publishing on the literal building blocks of every swing—the way body segments work together to amplify (or dampen) the transfer of energy from the player to the clubhead. You’ll get both the operating code for understanding more efficient swings and learn about the specific in-lesson work Jacobs is doing with players like Padraig Harrington to essentially tune golfers’ engines to produce their maximum usable and repeatable horsepower.

Tom Myers (author of the ground-breaking Anatomy Trains books and videos) and Michael Jacobs have been collaborating for more than four years to overlay the world of functional human movement and the golf swing to give every player, coach and swing enthusiast better tools for enjoying the game pain free and playing great golf at any age. That comes from understanding the unique construction of the human body and our ability to use our hands and arms to multiply speed exponentially. Tom will be presenting live via zoom from his base in California, and will host a live Q and A after his presentation.

The symposium runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wykagyl Country Club in Westchester, New York. A breakfast and buffet lunch is included in the day of learning.

There’s no better way to use the power of golf science to make your next shot the best one you ever hit—or coach your players to do the same.
