2024 Memberships

If you want to get better, it’s a process. A commitment between the player and the coach. If you want a tip or a one-off lesson, I wish you the best on your game improvement journey, but I might not be the right coach for you. My goal is to be a comprehensive coach for you. I will assess your body movements and measure your swing. I’ll watch you play golf and help you make a plan that addresses everything you need to be successful. Improvement isn’t linear, and careful guidance will help you have the right context for your game. Many times, your scores are a trailing indicator for real improvement. All of my programs are commitment based, both for you and for me. With a membership, we’re able to work together to diversify the kinds of lessons you take—like an indoor putting lab session or combining two one-hour sessions for a 3D capture. We can also create a work plan to address specific aspects of your game, like wedge play.

Why a membership? Members get early access to my calendar to book in the dates they prefer. Member lesson days are Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday exclusively, and members have their own dedicated lesson scheduling portal. Membership clients are also the only players eligible to schedule one-hour and half-hour lessons, and to take indoor lessons in the winter at the Jacobs 3D studio.

Playing Lesson Information:

The "on-course playing lesson" stands out as a cornerstone feature of our lesson membership. With a tee time set for Sunday at 9 am, you can arrive early to warm up at the practice range. Following this, you'll join two other lesson members and Michael Jacobs for an 18-hole playing session. This experience offers invaluable insights not just into refining your swing mechanics and technical skills, but more importantly, understanding how these improvements translate to actual gameplay on the course. It's a morning filled with both work and laughter, providing a blueprint for overall game enhancement.

Have inquiries about shot selection, technique, or curious about strategies employed by tour players? There will be ample opportunity to address these and more. Occasionally, Michael Jacobs will join as the fourth player, but if Chen is available, he will take that spot while Michael Jacobs offers coaching from the sidelines. Playing alongside Chen provides a firsthand look at a State Open champion in action. Bronze and Silver Members have one designated playing lesson day, while Gold Members enjoy two. In case of unfavorable weather conditions, we'll notify you the night before or on the morning of the lesson to arrange a reschedule.
